The so-called failsafe, a kind of safety measures for model aircraft, is used to protect the aircraft when R/C signal is lost (this happens when the aircraft flies too far, the R/C lost power supply or the signal is blocked.

The importance of setting failsafe:Without setting the failsafe, there may be unexpected situations such as loss the control of the aircraft which will lead to a crash or even people could be hurt. But if you set the failsafe function before takeoff then the loss will be considerably small.

Situations When Signal Lost

  • Select a protection method, when the MC lost control signal, this method will be triggered.
  • There are two kinds conditions of signal loss:
    • 1)The signal between RC and receiver lost, such as the aircraft is outside the remote communication range or the RC is broken down.
    • 2)One or more channels of A, E, T, R, U lost connection between MC and receiver. If this happens before taking off, you push the throttle the motor will not turn up; If happened during the flight, the failsafe mode is activated, LED flash blue for warning. If in the auto hovering protection mode the throttle control channel (T) disconnect, the aircraft will automatically landing.
